Welcome to the home page for the North Texas Whip carriage driving club. This non-profit organization was co-founded by two area horsewomen in 1996 and has since grown to a membership of over 100 carriage driving enthusiasts and is affiliated with the American Driving Society as well as the Carriage Association of America. Plenty of activities are in the planning stages right now. NTW Sunrise Ridge HDT and Driving Weekend scheduled for April 7-8, will welcome Francois Bergeron as President of the Jury, with Keith Yutzy as our Technical Delegate. Check our calendar for scheduled work dates.
The NTW Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 22 at 1:30p.m at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, 1400 Texas Drive, Weatherford. A Board of Directors meeting will be held prior to that at 1:00 p.m. Details are in the January newsletter. Plan to attend and bring a friend. The Doss is a beautiful museum, complete with a J. Brown built stagecoach, and their meeting room has all the amenities. Our meal will be potluck, with the club providing the meat and drinks for the occasion. Looking forward to seeing you there.
